9/1/2017  UHSA Names New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Utah Head Start Association is pleased to welcome Natalie Brush as the first Executive Director.  Natalie previously worked with Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership grants at the Utah Community Action Head Start program, and provided assistance to the Association. She also worked for the Department of Workforce Services in training and eligibility and the Office of Child Care as the Provider Relations Specialist.  Natalie holds a bachelors degree in Family Science and a M.Ed. with a focus on early learning and literacy.  We look forward to improving relationships with community partners, state educational agencies, and other early care and education providers. 

10/31/18 - 11/2/18 Region VIII Head Start Conference

The South Dakota Head Start Association hosted the Region VIII Head Start at the Lodge in Deadwood, South Dakota. 

12/1/18 Dr. Donald Carpenter - OWCAP Executive Director Retires
